MEETING OF THE KYRGYZ-BELARUS COMMISSION SET FOR 13 NOVEMBER.


A second meeting of the Belarus-Kyrgyz inter-governmental commission on economic cooperation would begin in Bishkek on 13 November. First Vice Prime Minister Kurmanbek Osmonov of Kyrgyzstan and Vice Prime Minister Aleksander Popkov of Belarus lead the delegations, which would discuss wide range of items on bilateral cooperation between the two countries. According to Nurlan Abdrakhmanov of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry, the Belarus delegation would stay in Kyrgyzstan for three days and the trade turnout between the two states was $3.6 million in the first six months of 2002.
