RUSSIAN INTERIOR MINISTER GRYZLOV IN KYRGYZSTAN.


Interior Minister Boris Gryzlov of Russia arrived in Kyrgyzstan on 13 November with a three-day visit. He met the same day in Bishkek with his Kyrgyz counterpart Bakirdin Subanbekov discussing aspects of cooperation against organized crime, drug trafficking, illegal migration, as well as training of cadres and technical cooperation. Gryzlov and Subanbekov signed a memorandum on joint fight against terrorism and organized crime.

According to the press service for the Interior Ministry, Gryzlov is scheduled to meet in Bishkek with Prime Minister Nikolai Tanaev later on 13 November, and would travel on 14 November to resort town of Cholpon-Ata on the shores of the Issyk-Kul Lake to meet President Askar Akayev.
