BISHKEK. Head of the Migration department of Foreign Ministry Tolon Turganbayev says some 500,000 Kyrgyz labor migrants in Russia will not be forced out of the country. According to him, currently the governments of two countries are negotiating the issue.
Turganbayev also confirmed that the Russian government recently approved a decree which set 530,000 quota for the citizens of the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent Countries).
Earlier, member of Kyrgyz Parliament Adakhan Madumarov said the new decree may result in expulsion of Kyrgyz migrant workers from Russia.
