Use of the Kant airbase in the framework of the CST will be discussed at the next summit of the CST member-states in April 2003.
Meanwhile, all the Russian military planes left the Kant airbase on Dec 6-7. The aim of their landing in the base was to check the Kant airport abilities to serve as the base for the CST rapid forces. The Russian experts found it suitable for the rapid forces mission.
