BISHKEK. Citizens of about 28 European countries may come to Kyrgyzstan and obtain their month-long visas at the 'Manas' airport. The head of the Consulate department of the Kyrgyzstan Foreign Ministry, Ruslan Kazakbaev, said today that the new ruling will be introduced to encourage the Western investors into Kyrgyzstan. A special governmental decree will be issued on the issue, said Kazakbaev.
Meanwhile, Tolon Turganbayev, the head of the Foreign Ministry's migration service department, said today that Russian authorities will not expel the Kyrgyz labor migrants from Russia. But some of them would be fined, if they fail to prove their legality in working there. He said that about 300,000 Kyrgyz labor migrants are working in different regions of Russia. Most of them don't have legal permission for their jobs. Now the Kyrgyz and Russian governments are preparing a special agreement on their labor migrants, said Turganbaev.
