Japanese Embassy Is Officially Opened In Bishkek


BISHKEK. The Japanese Embassy To Kyrgyzstan today was officially opened in Bishkek. The speaker of the People's Representative Assembly (upper chamber) of the Kyrgyz Parliament, Altai Borubayev, Parliamentary Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Japan, Sinako Tsutia, and other officials attended the opening ceremony. The Japanese Ambassador To Bishkek and Astana, Toshio Tsunodzaki said during the ceremony that the Japanese Government will continue its financial support to different Kyrgyz projects.
President Askar Akayev today received the Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Japanese Parliament, Tsutia. The sides discussed a wide range of issues, including the bilateral economic relations and cooperation in fighting international terrorism.
