BISHKEK. U.S. Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, John O'Keefe told journalists today that an international publishing house was officially registered by the Kyrgyz Justice Ministry. It was long awaited by the Kyrgyz opposition and independent outlets which have been complaining about obstacles from state-funded printing houses in publishing independent and pro-opposition newspapers. Deputy Justice Minister, Erkinbay Mamyrov confirmed that the international publishing house was registered by the Ministry on December 30, 2002.
