BISHKEK. Tomorrow the Inter-Parliament Assembly of the Eurasian Economic Community (EEC) will start hearings on problems of cross-border cooperation between the EEC member states. Kyrgyz lawmakers, deputy of the People's Representative Assembly (upper chamber), Lev Vasilyev, and deputy of the Legislative Assembly (lower chamber) of Kyrgyz parliament, Tajinisa Abdrasulova, will represent Kyrgyz parliament. According to the Committee for international and inter-parliamentary cooperation of the upper chamber of Kyrgyz parliament, Vasilyev will focus on current obstacles between the EEC member-states in cross-border cooperation, including issues of Central Asian cross-border trade and Kazakh tariffs for transit automobiles and lorries of Kyrgyzstan crossing the neighboring country to reach Europe and Siberia.
