BISHKEK. One of the founding leaders of the opposition "Kyrgyzstan Democratic Movement" Party, former lawmaker Jypar Jekshe, told journalists today that he is going to stand for a parliament seat at the No. 30 Karasuu constituency in the Osh region. Several representatives of the Karasuu electorate proposed him to run for the seat. A former deputy of the Legislative Assembly (lower chamber) of the Kyrgyz parliament, and former leader of another opposition 'Erkin Kyrgyzstan' (Free Kyrgyzstan) Democratic Party Tursunbai Bakir-Uulu was elected the Ombudsman last November.
