New Appointments in Kyrgyzstan

BISHKEK. Kyrgyz President Askar Akayev signed decrees on appointment to some local posts. According to the presidential press service, Adyl Saidinov became a head of the Atbashy district administration, Abdisalam Yuldashev - the head of the Alabuka district, Baktybek Kurmanbaev - the head of the Karabuura district, Marat Kashkaraev - the head of the Talas district, Dyikanbai Kenjebaev - the head of the Ton district, Omurbek Sharshenaliev - the head of the Toguztoro district,and Mukash Mambetov - the head of the Aksy district. It is unclear, what the reason was for the removal of previous heads of district administration from their positions.
Prime Minister Nikolai Tanayev signed a decree on appointment of Talant Kushchubekov as first deputy foreign minister. He has been working as a deputy minister of the foreign ministry.
