BISHKEK. President Askar Akayev signed the decrees yesterday, appointing Iskender Murzaliev to the position of the head of the Kemin district administration of the Chui region, and Gennadiy Davydenko - to the position of the Jaiyl district administration of the same region.
Another presidential decree is on official governmental support for the Kyrgyz diaspora abroad. The president ordered the Kyrgyz government to prepare plans within one month on help to the Kyrgyz abroad in education. The decree urged the government to prepare bilateral draft agreements with Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Russia, in order to help the compact groups of Kyrgyz to meet their education demands. The Kyrgyz authorities are considering to simplify enrollment of the Kyrgyz entrants from abroad for the country's universities.
The second world congress of the Kyrgyz will be held in Bishkek on August 31, 2003, the state independence day.
