BISHKEK. The Legislative Assembly (lower chamber) of the Kyrgyz parliament today adopted a law "On changes and amendments to the Kyrgyz Republic's Tax Code", allowing the introduction of taxation for real estates. In accordance with the law, real estates in the cities, towns and resorts will be taxed annually. A sum of tax will be defined by local councils. Money from the tax will be used by the local municipalities.
The law will be enforced after the president signs it. Thirty seven lawmakers out of 41 backed the law.
