BISHKEK. India's Foreign Minister Yashwant Sinha today arrived in Bishkek after concluding his three-day visit to Tajikistan. Sinha has talks scheduled with Kyrgyzstan's President Askar Akayev, Prime Minister Nikolai Tanayev and Defense Minister Esen Topoyev. The Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said talks will focus on issues of strengthening trade and economic cooperation between the two countries and security problems in the region. It is expected that Sinha will give a lecture at the Jusup Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University devoted to the relations between India and Central Asia.
On Friday he will leave Bishkek to Kazakhstan.
