Some International Organizations Are Concerning About the Recent Political Developments In Kyrgyzstan

BISHKEK. The Bishkek offices of some international organizations such as the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and the National Democratic Institute of the USA (NDI) expressed their anxiety over the short timing set for the referendum. The OSCE Bishkek office regretted that it was impossible to organize an international monitoring team for the referendum within such a short time. The NDI made a statement which stresses that the amendments made by an unexpected team of experts to the previous draft of the version of the Constitution, would expose the constitutional reforms and democratic path in Kyrgyzstan to danger.
