BISHKEK. A controversial book by Turkmen President, Saparmurat Niyazov will be presented to the Kyrgyz audience at the state history museum in Bishkek on February 19. The book entitled 'Rukh-name' (The Book On Spirit') will be introduced by a lawmaker, Alisher Sabirov, and members of the 'Kyrgyzstan-Turkmenistan' Friendship society. The book is seen by the official Ashgabat as a moral distillation of the post-Soviet Turkmen nation, while the opposition criticizes the Turkmen government for its authoritarian rule.
