According to the US embassy in Bishkek, the Kyrgyz Ministry of Health Care received on 13 November a package of humanitarian aid from the AmeriCares Fund through the ADRA charity fund of Kyrgyzstan. The US Department of State sponsored delivery of the 20 tons aid, mostly medical supplies worth $2.3 million, from Luxembourg to Kyrgyzstan. It would be distributed among the budgetary hospitals and health care institutions of the country. The embassy says the ADRA brought five-million-dollar humanitarian aid to Kyrgyzstan in 2001.
