BISHKEK. Deputy Foreign Minister of Tajikistan, Salokhiddin Nasriddinov today arrived in Bishkek to participate in a meeting of the Kyrgyz Tajik inter-governmental commission on delimitation of their borders. The meeting starts tomorrow. The Kyrgyz side will be led by first deputy foreign minister Omar Sultanov. Head of the Government's department on regional problems, Salamat Alamanov today said that there are about 40 disputed places along the Kyrgyz-Tajik border which consists of about 1,000 km. The first negotiations on the issue were held in 1997, however, it was stopped because of the internal political problems in Tajikistan.
