BISHKEK. The newly established 'Elmuras' (Nation's Heritage) Party supports the opposition proposal to include to the Referendum agenda an issue of the Kyrgyz-Chinese border settlement. The leader of the party and a deputy of the Legislative assembly (lower chamber) of the Parliament, Toktokan Borombaeva, said today at the press conference that the centrist-minded party openly criticizes the Government, if the issues will matter for the national interests. The Government says that the Kyrgyz-Chinese border issue was sorted out in the results of signing the bilateral agreements and their ratification by the Parliament. However, the Kyrgyz opposition is criticizing the procedure of the border settlement as unconstitutional and it is demanding to include the issue into the agenda of the forthcoming referendum.
