BISHKEK. A seminar for the state establishment was held today in the Government House ('White House) in Bishkek. Members of Government, regional governors and representatives of municipalities attended the workshop. First Deputy Prime Minister, Kurmanbek Osmonov, a head of the Expert team, Cholponkul Arabayev, and the members of the team, Galina Mukambayeva and Suerkul Kosakov explained the core meaning of the new draft version of the Constitution. They stressed that all the main proposals made by the Constitutional Council were included into the draft.
Some opposition members of the Constitutional Council established by the presidential decree on August 26, 2002, have been criticizing the Expert team saying that the latest version of the draft was prepared by the experts without consent of the Council.
