BISHKEK. The Second World Congress of Kyrgyz will be organized on Aug. 29-30. President Askar Akayev signed a decree according to which the event will be devoted to the so called 2200th anniversary of Kyrgyz statehood. According to the press secretary of Abdil Segizbayev, an organizing committee will be set up under the chairmanship of the State Secretary Osmonakun Imbrayimov.
The First World Congress of Kyrgyz was held in 1992.
