BISHKEK. Today defense minister of Russia Sergey Ivanov attended an air show in Kant air base, some 20 km east of the Kyrgyz capital. The event was staged to showcase aircraft to be deploy in the air base. Four military aircraft SU-27 and SU-25 participated.
Later Ivanov said the permanent deployment of aircraft of the member-states of Collective Security Treaty will start next May. According to the Russian minister, corresponding agreement should be signed and ratified by parliaments of Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
